Adventures in Real Estate

I love to care for properties, and to find and to bring out their unique charm. My experience ranges from general maintenance, short-term rental management, minor remodels, to listing prep and staging.

Every role in my work history has been invaluable in this journey - from my beginnings which were heavy in customer service, to accounting and project management in the construction industry, to my private counseling practice working directly with individuals seeking to improve their lives.

When I had the opportunity to purchase my first house from my father I did not hesitate! I've always loved turn of the century homes and while the property was a fixer upper which had been a rental for many years, I could see the potential that it held.

 

The Renton House was a painful learning experience in everything from the need to have a home inspection before purchase, to how extensive accumulated damage and wear can be after 60 years, to building codes and permitting regulations.

​

The Renton House was also where I fell in love with real estate, property and project management, building maintenance, hands-on remodeling work, interior design and staging.
